Abstract: Objective: To explore the potential mechanism of Ranunculus ternatus in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis.
Methods: The active components and targets of Ranunculus ternatus were predicted and screened by TCMSP database, Cytoscape 3.6.1
software was used to construct the network diagram of active components and targets in the treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis, using
STRING database to build PPI network. Bioconductor data were used to analyze the GO function and KEGG signaling pathway of the
target. Results: 12 active components and 14 potential therapeutic targets were screened, signaling pathways that may be associated
with tuberculosis were obtained by KEGG analysis: Apoptosis, p53 signaling pathway, and IL-17 signaling pathway; and corresponding
genes are BCL2, BAX, CASP9, CASP3, CASP8, and JUN. Conclusion: The active components of Ranunculus ternatus may act on
BCL2, BAX, CASP9 and other targets through apoptosis, p53 signaling pathway and IL-17 signaling pathway, and it is characterized by
multiple components, multiple targets and multiple pathways.
